The story of Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 began on August 27, 2020 and was created alongside Marvel characters. Thor called his friends to the island and warned of a future attack by Galactus. Upon arrival at Fortnite Island, all of Marvel's heroes began to lose their memory. The characters embark on a journey to awaken, regain their strength, and defend reality from an impending threat.
The collapse of the Shadow and Ghost organizations
In the 4th season of Chapter 2 of Fortnite, the shadow representatives closed the administration building with new walls and left it. The Ghost Office, the Fortilla, has been devastated by looters. They also plundered and broke everything that was possible at the Catty Corner location. Both organizations were disbanded, and many agents from both groups went missing.
Helicarrier 64
A soaring Helicarrier appeared in the sky. This platform served as a landing strip for equipment and an observation point for the entire island.
Doctor Doom, She-Hulk and Wolverine
Doctor Doom took the Pleasant Park location and established his residence there. For the She-Hulk, the building of a law office (Jennifer Walters office) was built at the Retail Row. Wolverine liked the location of the Weeping Woods the most.
Iron Man
Iron Man set up his own laboratory for the study of anomalies of time and space. He placed strange glowing devices with antennas in the northeast of the map. As it turned out, with the help of these lighthouses, Tony Stark created temporary tunnels and moved through them the Ant Manor, a transport truck, the Collection Museum, and other objects from the world of Marvel. Players also saw blueprints for the Battle Bus in his office.
Galactus
In the middle of Season 14, a silhouette of Galactus appeared in the sky. At first it was barely noticeable. The monster slowly approached the island and its size was terrifying. A little later, countdown timers started working over Helicarrier and in the lobby. The inhabitants of the world of Fortnite began to prepare for the defense, the players were already looking forward to a cool event. The guards of Galactus have appeared on the island.
Battle of the Nexus
Galactus was interested not only in Thor and his friends, but also in Zero Point, which gives energy to the whole world. On December 2, 2020, as he got close to Fortnite Island, he declared: “Beware! I am hungry!". Each player could join Thor and Wolverine, test their strength and fight the villain.
Galactus first destroyed Helicarrier 64. Players who met him on the platform were thrown into the air. They were saved by Tony Stark, who gave everyone jetpacks. Galactus began to draw out the energy of the Zero Point. Iron Man intervened again. It turns out that he not only upgraded the Battle Bus, but also created billions of its clones. Each car was a moving bomb. Tony Stark transferred the battle to a parallel dimension, where each player could drive a bus into the body of a monster and leave explosives there. The players were hampered by enemy drones with which they fought with laser cannons.
The outcome of the battle
The battle ended in defeat for Galactus, who was blown up from within. A time portal opened and the monster returned to its world. Unfortunately, the Zero Point was damaged, and the island again fell on the fragile line between life and non-existence.
Once again, chaos reigned in the world of Fortnite. Agent Jones of the Order of the Loop must regain control of Zero Point. His adventures will be the beginning of the next season 5 of Fortnite Chapter 2.
